Documentary at heart, editorial in the details. We photograph your day as it actually happens, stepping in with gentle direction only during portraits. The result is timeless, not trendy.
2. How far in advance should we book you?
As soon as you have your date and venue. Most couples book 8–14 months ahead, and we take a limited number of weddings per year, so dates are secured first-come, first-served with a signed contract and retainer.
3. Do you travel to our venue? Are there travel fees?
Yes — travel is included anywhere in Costa Rica, from Guanacaste to the Caribbean coast. No hidden fees. Celebrating abroad? Reach out for a custom quote.
4. When and how will we receive our photos?
A sneak peek within 72 hours — perfect for sharing while you're still in Costa Rica. Your full gallery arrives within 6–8 weeks via a private online gallery; wedding films within 8–12 weeks.
Rain here is usually brief, dramatic, and beautiful on camera. We know each region's weather, build flexibility into your timeline, and always have a plan B. Some of our favorite images were made minutes after a downpour.
6. What if something happens to you or your equipment?
We shoot to two memory cards simultaneously, carry full backup gear, and back up your images in multiple locations that same night. In the extremely unlikely event we couldn't be there, we have a trusted network of professionals and we'd still edit everything personally.
7. How many photos will we receive? Are they edited?
Every image is individually edited by hand — never batch-filtered. Expect roughly 60–80 finished photographs per hour of coverage, curated so every image earns its place.
8. We're awkward in front of the camera. Is that a problem?
Most of our couples say exactly this. You won't need to perform. We document real moments, and portraits use simple prompts, not stiff poses. Ten minutes in, most couples forget we're there.
